Continuous Improvement:

Why Luna Glamping Encourages Glass Skylights and Glass Fronts

At Luna Glamping, one of our core beliefs is that great companies never stop evolving.

From the beginning, our mission has been to create beautiful, durable, and innovative glamping structures that help our customers build extraordinary experiences. As our products have been installed in a wide variety of climates around the world, we have gained valuable insight into how different materials perform over time and how we can continue to improve.

Our commitment has always been simple:
Listen to our customers. Learn from real-world performance. Continuously improve.

That commitment is what led us to transition from clear PVC skylights and front panels to glass skylight and glass front systems.

Luna structures are installed in a remarkable range of environments, from snowy Canadian winters and coastal climates to desert regions and tropical destinations.

Every installation teaches us something.

As our customer base has grown, we have continued to evaluate every aspect of our products with one question in mind:

How can we create the best possible long-term experience for our customers?

Over time, we recognized that advancements in glass technology offered significant benefits in durability, longevity, clarity, and overall guest experience.

Rather than standing still, we chose to evolve.

Innovation Through Experience

Glass skylights and glass front systems provide several advantages for customers seeking long-term performance:

  • Enhanced durability
  • Improved resistance to environmental aging
  • Greater long-term visual clarity
  • Reduced maintenance requirements
  • A premium architectural appearance
  • Improved performance across a broad range of climates

For many customers, glass represents the best long-term solution for maximizing both aesthetics and durability.

Why We Chose Glass

One of the advantages of working closely with customers across the globe is the opportunity to learn from a wide range of environmental conditions.

As we expanded into regions with intense sunlight, elevated UV levels, desert climates, tropical environments, and year-round outdoor hospitality operations, we observed how different materials performed under varying conditions.

While all of our PVC materials are UV resistant, outdoor-rated, and specifically selected for long-term exterior use, like many materials used throughout the outdoor hospitality, marine, RV, greenhouse, and outdoor structure industries, transparent PVC can still experience gradual aging when exposed to prolonged UV radiation and environmental stress over time.

Many customers continue to enjoy successful long-term use of their PVC skylights, and these systems remain a practical solution in many applications. However, as we evaluated long-term performance across a broad range of climates, we recognized that glass offers superior longevity, clarity, and durability in demanding environmental conditions.

Our goal has never been to simply meet expectations—we strive to exceed them. We are constantly asking ourselves:

How can we make tomorrow’s Luna products even better than today’s?

The transition to glass was one of the answers.

Learning From Real-World Conditions

Perhaps the most important part of our evolution is not the materials we use—it’s the relationships we build.

At Luna Glamping, we believe that supporting our customers is just as important as building great products.

As our products evolve, we remain committed to:

  • Honoring our warranty commitment
  • Providing replacement component options when applicable
  • Offering technical guidance and support
  • Helping customers identify practical solutions for their specific environments
  • Continuously improving based on customer feedback and real-world experience

Standing Behind Our Customers

Standing Behind Our Customers

Many customers continue to successfully operate Luna structures featuring earlier-generation PVC skylights and viewing panels. Luna Glamping remains committed to supporting those customers through our warranty program, replacement component availability, technical guidance, and ongoing customer service.

Where applicable under our warranty program, customers experiencing skylight-related concerns may be eligible for replacement cover solutions. Luna Glamping has provided replacement covers without PVC skylights as part of our continued commitment to product improvement and customer satisfaction.

Our goal has always been to work collaboratively with our customers to ensure they have the best possible experience with their Luna structure.

Looking Ahead

The transition to glass skylights and glass fronts is just one example of how Luna Glamping continues to evolve.

Innovation is not a destination—it is an ongoing process.

As new technologies emerge, materials improve, and we continue learning from customers around the world, we will keep investing in better products, better performance, and better customer experiences.

Because at Luna Glamping, we believe our responsibility doesn’t end when a structure is delivered.

It continues through every season, every guest experience, and every opportunity to improve.

We are grateful for the trust our customers place in us and remain committed to building the future of luxury glamping—one improvement at a time.
